Send MAC Address on VPN handshake?

Hello,

Is it possible to send the MAC Address to the Cisco VPN server?  According to my IT team, it's
missing for my laptop on their end.

I found this thread:

but it's not clear to me if that works in the current version, or what flag or config I would use to
send the MAC Address.
