Apologies for delayed response. My first suspicion is still that you
need to run the *real* host checker tool, not the fake one. You need to
contrive some way to do that — either hacking OpenConnect to respond to
the form it doesn't currently understand, or making the python script
spawn the real Java tool instead of using its own partial
reimplementation.
