OS X disconnect

I have openconnect installed via homebrew on OS X 10.8.3.  It will connect fine & the routing tables seem to get updated OK.  However, when I disconnect, DNS stops working unless I disable/enable the network interface.  Anyone know why this is?  The vpnc-script seems to be using scutil, but it also updates /etc/resolv.conf, so I'm not sure where to look.
