I think it is better to write this slightly different:
#define MAX_BUFFER_INDEX BIT_MASK(30 - PLANE_INDEX_SHIFT)
#define BUFFER_INDEX_MASK (MAX_BUFFER_INDEX - 1)
That avoids the use of "BUFFER_INDEX_MASK + 1" in a few places in this patch
series. I think that's rather ugly.
