suspend to ram for rk3399

Hi,

We are trying to get suspend to ram aka deep sleep working on rk3399 
based Theobroma Q7 module.
We are on mainline 5.4, and new mainline uboot with v2.4 atf.

The boards goes nicely into suspend, but while trying to resume with our 
wake irq, an instant reboot happens.
Does someone know, if this combination is supposed to work, know not to 
work, and where could I go look deeper?
Seems context is not preserved somewhere...
