5.8 Pull Request

Looks like I managed to get my 5.8 PR stuck in my outbox so as a result it
didn't get to Linus and therefor wasn't merged.  There wasn't anything
critical (just the -fno-stack-protector patch), but it does mean that
riscv-for-linus-5.8-rc8 isn't going to get merged -- I could send it out as-is
for the merge window, but it seems easier to just put it in with the rest of
the patches.
