    No. But this is because I could not test them. I moved from my flat
    and could not use the offending machine since then.

    Unfortunately I don't even know if I'll be able to test further more
    kernels on that machine: I had debian installed on it with a 2.4 so
    that I could use the net to install and test new softs and kernels.
    But the last 2.6 test required me to upgrade the glibc which seems not
    to be compatible with 2.4 :(

    I need to find a small distro on CD/USB with not much resource needs.
    If you have an idea of a such a small distro, I'll be glad to use it
    for my tests.
    I'll find some time to test the last and the next ubuntu kernels if I
    can make them boot, then I'll feed again this report.

    I had been trying every ACPI boot parameter. I don't know which one could
    have a positive effect...
