TI PCI1225 controller + any CardBus card == "no high memory space"

Hi everyone,

I have a PCI card which carries the Texas Instruments 1225 controller
chip on it, and no matter which CardBus card I try on it (WiFi,
USB2.0), I get the ugly "no high memory space" warning and the card is
rendered useless in the system. On the other hand a PC-Card (16bit)
WiFi works just dandy!

Here is the systems' information:

Only used slots are the PCI PCMCIA card and the video card
BIOS settings:

I tried fiddling around with config.opts, but to no avail. I also
realize that a newer kernel might fix the problem, but I'd like to
exhaust any possibilities with this combination first.

Any suggestions?

And an off-topic question: is there a Linux supported USB (1.1 or 2.0)
PC-Card (16bit) ?? I've searched for a while but couldn't find
anything like that :(

Thank you very much for any assistance!

PS. Please CC me in your reply if you could.
