Unable to map card memory, no io/mem-probe at all

Robert Schulze rob at net-pr.de

Hi,

I postet my problems with my Cardbus O2 OZ6812 some months ago, well I will
try it again now.

Always, when I insert a card (I tried my Cisco Aironet 350 and a Siemens
WLAN-Card)
the message "cs: unable to map card memory" occurs.
I also noticed, that no memory or io addresses get probed on
driver-startup - I don't know why.

Functionality of the devices is proved: when I boot e.g. a knoppix with old
pre-2.6.13 kernel and cardmgr, WLAN
ist working immediatly.

What the hell can I do to solve the problem?

with kind regards,
Robert Schulze
