Hi All,

Could someone through some light on why the drivers/pcmcia/cardbus.c
is written to be more of a PCI bridge oriented?

I am kind of new to Linux PCMCIA subsystem. I have a very basic
question regarding the support for cardbus cards in Linux. My intention
is to provide support for a PCMCIA cardbus card on an unsupported
platform. My hardware platform is ARM based and there is no PCI bridge
on my hardware platform. I just went through the Linux PCMCIA card
services code breifly. What i understand from this is, the CARDBUS is
support is dependent on PCI. So how do we support cardbus cards on
hardware platforms which have no concept of PCI?

Regards,
Madhu
