unfortunately, and i see that i have forgotten to include that
information in my previous e-mail, the card's lights (power and network)
are not turned on when i insert the card into the pcmcia-slot. this
should happen, though, right? therefore, i gather, that the card is
still not fully operational ... any ideas?
