[Linux-parport] ECP Address FIFO

Hi,
This question is related about when a peripheral reads the ECP Address FIFO.
On the host side, the host writes into the ECP Address FIFO, but how does the peripheral
recognize that it has to read the ECP Address FIFO now, instead of ECP Data FIFO? There
seem to no change in the handshaking signals between the host and the peripheral.
Now, since the ECP Address FIFO is used to identify different logical devices, does this
mean that the bytes after the write operation in ECP Address FIFO, will be sent to that
logical device?
Thanks in advance for help,
Ravi
