[Linux-parport] Problems with parport

Hi,

can somebody explain me the changes from 2.4 to 2.6 in parport source? I have here an GLCD, which
is connected to the parport. On the 2.4 Kernel it runs superb, but on the 2.6(.5) there is a lot of nonsens on the lcd. Also it seems to be very very slow in contrast to the 2.4er.

I know that you need more infos, but what kind of infos?

It would be nice, if you send me an answer.
