[Linux-parport] Colorado Backup 8Gb parallel port

Hi,
I'm a new user of linux Mandrake v.10 o.s. (installed following normal installation instructions);
I don't have any particular devices installed; 
I need to install a Colorado Backup 8Gb (PARALLEL PORT), could anyone describe me a detailed installation (i mean the list of commands in order to make the device works)?
