Subject: How to Use the FTL and HAL Sotfware Modules

Hi:

Just an old topic about NAND bad block management.

I read from the application notes (http://awww.eetindia.co.in/ARTICLES/2004NOV/A/2004NOV29_MEM_AN07.PDF?SOURCES=DOWNLOAD) that we should use FTL and HAL software module to management the NAND flash bad blocks.

How about the status in linux-mtd? Has it been implemented? If not, is it in the todo list?

Regards

Pan Deng
