Howdy,
I can no longer build libical using autotools.
I have autoconf v2.66 and automake 1,9.
Would anyone with autotools fu please take a look and see how to fix?
Here's what happens:
allen at dizzy:/usr/local/src/freeassociation/trunk/libical$ ./bootstrap
... running autoreconf ...
autoreconf: Entering directory `.'
autoreconf: configure.in: not using Gettext
autoreconf: running: aclocal --force
aclocal:configure.in:22: warning: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
autoreconf: configure.in: tracing
autoreconf: configure.in: not using Libtool
autoreconf: running: /usr/bin/autoconf --force
configure.in:22: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LIBTOOL
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
autoreconf: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1
... removing autoheader cache files ...
This script has been tested with autoconf 2.53 and
automake 1.5. Other versions may work, but we recommend
the latest echo compatible versions of these.
Also note that autoconf and automake should be configured
with the same prefix.
allen at dizzy:/usr/local/src/freeassociation/trunk/libical$ ./configure
configure: error: cannot run /bin/sh ./config.sub
