The correct md5 sums are:

05b59824344e98535cad156ac98c3acd  sd8385.bin
7e9e249c0f9261209ce65345a7d6ea22  sd8385_helper.bin

so it looks like these new ones that you got are correct.  Downloading
the firmware via the web browser is probably broken at this time, and it
shouldn't really be a substitute for git or tarballs since you never
know exactly what the browser is going to do.
