Just to be sure: I renamed the poll function to 
if_cs_poll_while_fw_download(), as it get's only called from 
if_cs_prog_helper() and if_cs_prog_real().

Downloading the firmware doesn't take that long, I printed the 
jiffies before entering if_cs_prog_helper() and after 
if_cs_prog_real() and the difference was just 41.

Also, according to syslog, it was done in a sub-second.
