Hi,

I just wondered if you know of anyone that used your OLPC
Libertas WiFi driver on the Dlink DWL-G122 Rev D USB WiFi adapter
which, as far as I can figure, has the Libertas chip?

I copied the /usr/src/linux/drivers/net/wireless/libertas from the
OLCP kernel to my 2.6.16, compiled it and stuck these files in
/lib/firmware:

  -rw-rw-rw- 1 rick solar 237056 Oct 5 07:13 USB55N50.sys
  -rw-rw-rw- 1 rick solar 236928 Oct 5 07:14 USB55N51.sys
  -rw-rw-rw- 1 rick solar 105808 Aug 25 16:39 usb8388FWT.bin
  -rw-rw-rw- 1 rick solar 108220 Aug 27 11:35 usb8388MRP.bin
  -rw-rw-rw- 1 rick solar 101744 Oct 4 10:59 usb8388_A1_W8015FP14_FW2.bin

  Then I tried:

modprobe firmware_class
cd /lib/modules/2.6.16/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/libertas
insmod usb8xxx.ko fw_name=XXXX

where XXXX is one of the files above. Here is what I got for usb8388FWT.bin:
http://www.efn.org/~rick/pub/debug.txt

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Rick
