Could you please point to the exact IEEE 802.11 standard constraints you
are referring to here with "not allowed"?

In particular, how would one switch channels from 5 to 2.4 GHz when VHT
was enabled on 5 GHz? Or cases where moving from 2.4 GHz with HT and HE
enabled to 5 or 6 GHz where HT might not be needed?
