Urgh...a LMAC firmware crash in the sta_add. I will leave this to the
Intel guys.

I am still not sure if this a genuine issue or just an
incompatibility, I would suggest you to
switch to iwlwifi-next.git with corresponding latest iwlwifi firmware.
