Question on status-14 error

Since restarting (and rebooting) the AP didn't fix the problem, I am assuming
it is something in the station.

It would be nice for it to work properly, even if I have no special need for it.

Do you have any suggestions for figuring out what is wrong with the station?

What is the preferred configuration these days if we are not using TKIP?
