Compiling on Windows

So this guy Sergio (sfhacker at hotmail.com) directed me to a project that
he says is a port of hostapd for windows

I met him thru this mailing list, but he responded off-list. Also the
project did not work and was closed source. Have you heard about this
project or did I download malware or what?
