Hi, using the git-1.0rc tree I observe that scan_results returns signal
strength in a form that looks like 0-255. Is this expected? How to
convert to db or other arbitrary scale for use by a frontend?

Additionally, I am using an Atheros AR5414 card with recent kernel
drivers. Is there any way to have the card periodically do a background
scan such that scan_results are always reasonably fresh?

Thanks for any thoughts
