It does not sound justifiable to include this broken behavior in builds
by default both because of increased size of the binaries and because of
making hostapd.conf more confusing. This sounds very much like special
purpose testing code and it could be better to maintain this outside the
hostap.git repository. If you want to get it added into hostap.git, the
changes would at least need to be #ifdef'ed out from the default builds.
