WEXT is the kernel interface, not the WLAN driver..

I was asking about the WLAN driver, not wpa_supplicant..

Yes, I would run a test with the AP configured to use WPA2 with CCMP.

Which WLAN hardware and which driver are you using with it? Are you sure
they work correctly with TKIP?
