AP mode on RTL8187

Hello,

    Looking for some info on the RTL8187, and getting it working in AP
mode.  I have read that the old mod 8180 might work, and also found a
page on aircrack-ng http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=r8187  that
says it supports master mode.  Has anyone got this chip set working in
AP mode?  Or can anyone suggest a wifi usb based card that will do AP
with b and g support?
