Hi,

I'm having problems installing hostap with WPA-PSK

The station, an XP machine does the following four times, in a continuous
loop every few seconds.

WPA: 00:11:50:6a:a1:42 WPA_PTK entering state PTKSTART
ath0: STA 00:11:50:6a:a1:42 WPA: sending 1/4 msg of 4-Way Handshake
WPA: Send EAPOL(secure=0 mic=0 ack=1 install=0 pairwise=8 kde_len=0 keyidx=0
encr=0)
TX EAPOL - hexdump(len=113): 00 11 50 6a a1 42 00 14 6c ca ff 51 88 8e 02 03
00 5f fe 00 89 00 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 16 ba a6 c3 c2 cf d5 37 08 3f
b7 a5 c8 14 dd cd 4f 33 f1 af 40 85 30 0f 15 f1 0d 8e ba c3 a8 ec 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
ath0: STA 00:11:50:6a:a1:42 WPA: EAPOL-Key timeout

I've searched the internet for hours, looking for the same problem and found
numerous people reporting the same, but no resolution, there is even some
indication it may be a reoccurring bug, is this possible?

madwifi 0.9.4
hostapd 0.5.10 (i've also tried 0.5.7 that comes with ubuntu and 0.4.11 with
the same results.

I've tried stock config files (obviously with the ssid etc changed) and my
own all with the same result.

Any suggestions?

cheers,
jason.
