I'm quite sure it won't work.  WPA doesn't work like this.  It's not
just 802.1x over wireless.

SMC 2682W may be compatible with OpenAP, but you'll need to change
OpenAP to support WPA and reflash the bridge.  That's a lot of work, and
I don't think it's worth the trouble.
