Timestamp format in wpa_supplicant

I find the current wpa_supplicant timestamp format (<seconds from
1970>.<microseconds>) a bit 'unfriendly'.

I am using the timestamp to monitor my wireless connection to an
access point that has a weak signal, causing disconnect-connect
events.

An option to display the timestamp in 'human readable format' (for
example, YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS) would be helpful.
