need a correct madwifi.conf

  My hostapd is compiled successfully. But  "hostapd madwifi.conf" returns following errors
   
  Configuration file: /opt/madwifi.conf
  ioctl[IEEE80211_IOCTL_SETMLME]: Invalid argument
  Could not connect to kernel driver.
  Using interface ath0 with hwaddr 00:0f:b5:35:79:92 and ssid 'wpa-test'
  l2_packet_receive - recvfrom: Network is down
   
  Does anyone knows why it reurns those errors?
