Can CW Min be set?

Greetings,

before any transmission attempt, each machine has to choose a random
number between [0,CW] where aCWmin <= CW <= aCWmax that will determine its
back-off.

Would there be any way to raise the default aCWmin value, for a given
experiment?

If I'm not mistaken the standard says that the default aCWmin should be 7,
however I've not been able to find anywhere how to set that value nor how
to know which one is being used eventhough I've tried searching for it.
