I'll have a fiddle with this when I get home - it's entirely possible, as I
don't really understand exactly what you're saying. I don't think this is an
issue with my wpa_supplicant.conf, though, as I'm using exactly the same
wpa_supplicant.conf on both my laptop (which does not work and produces the
error messages shown) and on my PC (which works fine with my AP). They are
identical - they MD5Sum again.

I'll certainly poke around and try with other authentication schemes, but if
it is a config problem I'd expect it to be a non-wpa_supplicant config
problem.
