256 bit WEP support

Hi,

Yes, I'm aware of the fact that not all manufacturers support this configuration. Unfortunately (for me), I need this type of support from the wpa_supplicant.

Since in case of WEP, as far as I know, the only thing the supplicant does with the key is STORE it and give it to the driver when required, I assume adding 256bit support won't be that tricky, will it?

Hi,

Probably more to do with hardware support, i.e. most hardware does not
support 256bit WEP, software encryption is a bit dodgy in wpa_supplicant
(apparently), and what's the point anyway? Static WEP (at any
strength) should be considered insecure.....
