Executing hostapd getting ioctl error!

Good'day,

I am using hostapd-0.3.7 with madwifi HEAD branch. I can compile hostapd but i got errors when executing it.
Here's the error i am getting. 

ioctl[IEEE80211_IOCTL_SETPARAM]: Invalid argumentThis operation failed: Why?
