The current versions of the Windows driver download a firmware image as
part of the card initialization. That 1.7.4 would thus be the version of
the downloaded firmware whereas the 1.4.2 is the version on the card
flash. If you want to use that card in Host AP mode or as a client in
WPA network, you will need to update the firmware, either with RAM
download or by upgrading the flash.
