wep challenge?

hii guys;

i was wondering if hostap-0.2.4 supports managed mode?if it does ,could someone please enlighten me
as to where the driver accepts the wep challenge from ap (auth_transaction=2) and replies with the
encrypted wep challenge (auth_transaction=3).

any comments will be highly appreciated :)
