Signal value

Hi,
I am using a wireless card with a prism 2 chipset. I am measuring the signal strength value of the frames. when I configure the card in monitor mode I read the signal stremgth value from the prism header.... I would like to know what the value means when I read: "44" "3 5" "234". I do not really know what the space between the 3 and the 5 means .... Which value is that??
