Path diversity with hostap driver

Hi all,
I am using the hostap driver 0.2.5 on Linksys WPC11v3 (1.7.4), everything is
fine.
Recently I am doing some research about video multicasting in wireless
network.
My question is:
Is it possible for a mobilenode who uses hostap driver to receive multicast
packets from several APs simultaneously, i.e. besides the original
associated AP? If yes, what mode should the mobilenode be set in, and how to
configure the relative parameters? If not, is it possible to revise the
driver in order to achieve the goal? 
Any help is appreciated.  ;-)
