Hi All,
I have a WDS link running over approx 19-20km using firmware 1.1.1/1.7.4 and hostap-driver-0.1.2 and this is working fine I am seeing http throughput (wget) of about 400KB/s sustained for a 100mb file.

doing an iwconfig it shows the rate as being 2mb? it there something broken in the reporting of this.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11b ESSID:"Backbone"
          Mode:Repeater Frequency:2.412GHz Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00
          Bit Rate:2Mb/s Sensitivity=1/3
          Retry min limit:8 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:1234-1234-1234-1234-1234-1234-12 Security mode:restricted
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:21 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:1273 Invalid misc:2556743 Missed beacon:0

iwconfig wlan0 mode repeater
iwconfig wlan0 essid Backbone
iwconfig wlan0 channel 1
iwconfig wlan0 key s:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
prism2_param wlan0 enh_sec 1
prism2_param wlan0 max_wds 1
prism2_param wlan0 wds_type 4
prism2_param wlan0 other_ap_policy 1
iwpriv wlan0 wds_add 00:00:00:00:00

Also I am looking for any documentation on tuning the performance of this point to point link, I know its not far off now but I would like to get the max possible throughput.

Thanks everyone,
Aaron Daniels
