The Dell TrueMobile 1400 is based on a Broadcom Chipset. No native
drivers for Linux available. Your only chance is using the NDISWrapper
or the LinuxAnt Driverloader to load the Windows drivers under Linux.

HostAP only runs on prism chipsets.
