Question about MAC access in HostAP

Dear Pavel,

Thanks for your message. I do agree to sign an NDA for the firmware, but I do not understand why it is mandatory to pay a large sums of money for the firmware if it will be used for research and education and not business (i.e., academic environment)?

Intersil has (or had) secondary and tertiary firmware with QoS support,
but it wasn't distributed publicly.  I guess you could contact
GlobespanVirata, maybe they still have it.  Prepare to sign an NDA and pay
large sums of money.
