Yes, there will be short cap in connection whenever another channel is
being scanned. I would assume most applications do not notice this. If
the station code is implemented to avoid scanning other channels when
there is lot of traffic going on and/or when the signal level of the
current AP remains good, this background scanning should not cause much
problems. If you happen to have a case where absolutely maximum
performance and no latencies is required and roaming is not needed, you
could of course disable scanning.
