WPA error message

Mine was doing a very similar thing and I found that it was as simple
as typing in "ifconfig wlan0 up" before starting wpa_supplicant -
mainly because I didn't understand all the parts. Maybe you have done
this but this was the mistake I made when I started and it gave the
authentaticantion wiht 00:00..... on my output.....
