hostap_pci initialization failed after reboot

I am experiencing initialization failure for host_pci
only after rebooting. The driver works properly after
a cold boot. This problem always comes up when I
reboot my machine (IBM T23). Both 0.1.3 and 0.2.0
show the same behaviour. (Gentoo with kernel 2.6.5)
