Okay, I retract my above statement (after a long discussion with Olof).


Instead I say:

All wireless traffic handled by hostapd is protocol-independent,
so you can use IPv4, IPv6, NetBEUI etc.

However hostapd is not IPv6-enabled itself when it comes to use a RADIUS
server to authenticate clients.
