Host ap Going the way of the Dodo?

I totally agree that it is annoying to wait while you have projects on hold.
I have found that it is more productive to deal with the GlobeSpanVirata
Area Directors rather than the VP of Sales. The VP seemed like a personable
guy on the phone but is up to his neck in straightening out Intersil's fall
out.

As for hardware, we've been getting a lot of parts lately from NetGate
(www.netgate.com).

Perhaps we all ought to get together and create our own OEM co-op and buy
directly from an ODM like GemTek......

Well, I didn't write them off. I'm annoyed because they seem to have
screwed the pooch here.

The VP of Sales doesn't know who is shipping their product. His list
is wrong! i.e. he hasn't been talking to his customers often enough to
know
that they are no longer his customers.

Generally, I have projects that fit into this space. We are ready to
do low-volume beta testing on off-the-shelf hardware, but we find that
we
can't get the hardware!
