client signal strength

Hi everybody,

I am writing  a program at the socket layer at the
HostAP access point.For my program i need to know the
client signal strength .Based on the signal strentgh 
the program  has to makes decisions.So is it possible
to know client signal strength in the HostAP.If
possible how do u get that client signal strength.
