WDS configuration issues - Update (received WDS[4 addr] frame from unknown TA=00:02:6f:01:f9:b6)

Still working on WDS...

I am now seeing "wlan0: received WDS[4 addr] frame from unknown
TA=00:02:6f:01:f9:b6" on one of the boxes (AP1) in dmesg as well as the
expected "wlan0: Could not find STA for this TX error"


The other box (AP2) promptly shows the following in dmesg:

device wlan0 entered promiscuous mode
wlan0: adding automatic WDS connection to AP 00:02:6f:01:fa:47
wlan0: using pre-allocated WDS netdevice wlan0wds0
device wlan0wds0 entered promiscuous mode

and shows in /proc/net/hostap/wlan0/wds

00:02:6f:01:fa:47

so it appears to be working on AP2. I then took the EXACT same config from
AP2 and placed on AP1 and still see the above WDS frame message and no wds
shown in /proc


Topology is as simple as could be.

AP2  ~~ WDS (almost) ~~ AP1 -- eth0



Currently using hostap CVS with only PRISM2_DOWNLOAD_SUPPORT defined.
(kernel is 2.4.20 with Wireless Tools version 26-pre7, WE-15 #6 and WE-16
#4)


What in the world am I doing wrong?
