Mactime and sig strength

In relation to wlansniff and the prism monitor mode:

Can someone explain what mactime is?

And

My Linksys WPC11 cards seem to be reporting a signal strength from 0 to
100, is this actually what the card is reporting or is this a
normalisation in the driver?
